A one day national level workshop on “EFFECTIVE USAGE OF WEB BASED INFORMATION SOURCE AND ACCESS on 22.08.2014

A one day National Level Workshop on “EFFECTIVE USAGE OF WEB BASED INFORMATION SOURCE AND ACCESS” was conducted in Thamirabharani Engineering College on 22.08.2014.  Mr. Paulraj, Chairman and Mr. Perumal, Vice-Chairman of Thamirabharani Engineering College presided over the Inaugural Function.  Mr. Senthil kumar Palraj, Secretary of Thamirabharani Engineering College was present.    Dr. Ramasamy, Director offered felicitations to the delegates.   Mr. Mani, Asst. Librarian delivered the welcome address.   Dr. Martin Arockyasamy, Librarian of St.Xavier’s College, Palayamkottai and Dr. Bala Subramanian, DeputyLibrarian of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University delivered the orientation talk. Dr. Balasubramani, Asst. Librarian, Department of Library science, Bharathidasan University, Trichy and Dr. Jeya Prakash, Asst. Professor – department of Library Science, Periyar University, and Salem trained more than 200 delegates of various colleges.   Mrs. Chitral, Librarian of Thamirabharani Engineering College presented a report on the workshop and also presented the vote of thanks.  Mr. Joseph Stalin, Asst. Professor of English acted as a Master of Ceremonies.  Mr. Thalavai Pandian, Office Superintendent, with the volunteers, made all the necessary arrangement for the successful conduct of the workshop.
